Anker Zolo USB-C to USB-C Cable 6ft 240w Braided

I needed a long USB‑C cable for my laptop. My desk is set up in a way that the outlet is just out of reach for a standard 3ft cable. I tried a few longer ones before this, but they either charged slowly or started showing wear after a couple of months.

The Anker Zolo in 6ft caught my eye because of the 240W rating. I wasn’t sure I needed that much power, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt.

240W – Overkill Now, Good for Later

I use it mostly with my MacBook Pro and a 100W charger. The cable doesn’t get warm, and my laptop charges as fast as it should. No error messages, no random disconnects.

I also use it for my phone and tablet. With a 30W charger, it fast‑charges them without any issue. The 240W thing is probably more than I need today, but I don’t have to worry about upgrading this cable if I get a bigger laptop later.

6 Feet – Finally Some Room

This length makes a difference. I can sit back in my chair and still have my laptop plugged in. If I’m in bed, I can actually move around without the cable yanking out.

It’s long but not messy. I wrap it loosely when I’m done, and it doesn’t tangle up like some other braided cables I’ve used.

Braided – Feels Solid

The braiding is thick. It’s not one of those thin braids that fray after a few weeks. I’ve had this for a while now, and the ends still look new. I toss it in my bag a lot, and it’s held up fine.

One thing I noticed: it doesn’t get those kinks that some cables get when you bend them too much. It stays flexible.

Data Transfer Works

I use it to transfer photos from my phone to my laptop every now and then. It’s not the fastest for huge files, but for regular use, it’s fine. I haven’t had any issues with it stopping mid‑transfer or anything like that.
